The Love Jules Leather Shoe Company (LJL) is a small batch, limited release, made-to-measure shoe company based in East Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Every 2 – 3 months LJL announces a new shoe or boot release through their mailinglist and social media channels, and the first fifty (and fifty only) backers to forward them a deposit will find themselves on the production schedule in the sequence their deposit was received. Once a run is fully-spoken for (it’s not uncommon for their limited releases to sell-out within the day), they get busy planning out each individual pair (custom options vary by release), including scheduling in-studio fittings and mailing out self “Fit Kits” for those customers based abroad. LJL pride themselves not simply on their unparalleled craftsmanship (which includes sourcing only the world’s finest components) and unique designs, but the fact they offer a shoe buying experience like no other.
