The compost bin is easy to assemble. Just put the smaller, inner plastic bin in the outside stainless-steel bin. You can also change the charcoal filter in the lid which will be necessary about twice a year. They designed the inner bin very sturdy and dishwasher safe, so it can hold your compost without any additional bags.
